    • Offaly 1-16 Carlow 1-8 Minor Hurling Championship First Round By Kieran Murphy The midlanders opened the scoring in this MHC Leinster First round game in Dr. Cullen Park on Saturday when Cillian Kiely pointed from play. Liam Galway equalised for Carlow three minutes later but they failed to score until the end of the quarter when Kevin McDonald converted a free. In the meantime, Offaly scored five points. All the visiting half-forward line scored from play. Ronan Hughes landed three points in the first half but the damage was done just on the thirty minutes when a passing movement put Eoghan Cahill clear and he slotted home from close range.     • Carlow 0-13 London 2-7 NFL Division 4 Paul Broderick converted a last-gasp free to snatch a NFL Division 4 draw for Carlow against London in Ruislip on Saturday.  . The visitors trailed for most of the game but rallied well after conceding two goals in the first half. Leading 2-6 to 0-4 at the interval, London had chances to put the game to bed in the second period, but failed to do so.     • Wicklow 1-25 Carlow 1-11 National Football League Division 4 By Kieran Murphy Carlow were well beaten in this NFL Division 4 game in Carlow on Sunday. They led only briefly when Paul Broderick converted a fourth minute free but Conor McGraynor replied a minute later. Four minutes later, Rory Finn put the visitors ahead and the floodgates opened. Leighton Glynn beat his marker, ran thirty metres and pointed. It was open season on the Carlow goal and Sean Furlong, Paul Earls, McGraynor and Dean Healy all helped themselves to scores which came all too easily.
